A Little More NEW Impression Obsession Sweetness

Hello there my crafty friends! It's Day 2 of the Impression Obsession February Release Celebration and I have some cards to share made with ADORABLE new stamps, featuring one of my favorite song lyrics! I'm really excited about these stamps so let's take a look!

Everything about the See Your Face and At My Door stamps is pure perfection. What could be a sweeter sentiment when we can't be together with the people we love. "It would be so fine to see your face at my door." You probably recognize those sweet words as lyrics from Carole King, (who is one of my favorite music artists!) I've used these stamps in two different ways - one door is paper-pieced with kraft paper, and the other colored a bright funky pink with markers. Which is your favorite?

Next, another sweet sentiment that will be appropriate always, but especially right now. To begin this card, I sponged the background with aqua ink. Next, I stamped the flowers across the background and colored them with pencils. Finally, I stamped the sentiment and girl, colored her, and fussy cut them before adhering with foam squares.

This sentiment "I just hugged you in my thoughts" is perfect to say I LOVE YOU or I MISS YOU on a handmade card. Love both of the door cards but the simplicity of the first one with 3 colors really catches my eye!

Great cards! I like both of the door cards- the black and white is great for a quick card that the recipient might not feel they HAVE to save. The other one is so bright and cheerful, it at least deserves to be posted on the fridge for some time LOL!
