Have You Seen Impression Obsession's May Limited Edition Stamp Set?

Did you know that Impression Obsession has begun a new monthly limited edition red rubber stamp set? This month features the sweetest hummingbird and hibiscus stamps, and I am so happy to share it with you today!

I decided to go bright and bold on today's hummingbird cards. This stamp set is a lot of fun, because whether your style is clean and simple, layered, traditional, if you like to color or you don't. . . .there's something here for everyone.
Today's cards came together quite simply. To create this look, start out with white cardstock and a black ink pad to create the floral backgrounds. The hibiscus look beautiful colored, or stamped in colorful ink - but I was going for bold, clean and simple here.

To make the hummingbirds, I stamped them onto some watercolor paper that I had previously covered in liquid dye ink. (Jane Davenport Inkredible Inks at Spellbinders) Since the watercolor paper has texture, I suggest using a MISTI or stamping platform to really get nice impressions on the paper. I fussy cut the hummingbirds, but there is also a coordinating die available to make the cutting quick and simple.

There are a few GREAT things about IO's new limited edition stamp kits.

  • There are no commitments or clubs to join. (Although I think you'll love the stamps every single month!)
  • There are coordinating dies offered.
  • Each month's stamps come in clamshell packaging and include full color inspiration.
If you love red rubber stamps, this is a fun way to grab a new limited edition set each month. But don't hesitate because at the end of the month, the stamp set retires to make way for a new monthly kit.

This week the Impression Obsession design team is celebrating the May limited edition kit with a weeklong blog hop.

Here are the important details on the May Celebration:

  • Check the Impression Obsession blog each day May 4-11th for links to NEW inspiration featuring the May stamps.  THREE lucky winners will be chosen from the comments to win an Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
  • All comments (for each of the event days) will be open until Tuesday May 16th at 8pm CT. All winners will be announced on May 17th on the Impression Obsession Blog.
