Did you Hear? Now Is the Perfect Time To Grab Your Crafty Favorites!

Hey there my crafty peeps! I was just perusing the amazing deals at this year's Warehouse Sale at Spellbinders Paper Arts, and I thought I'd pop over to share a few of my favorite projects that showcase some of the great crafty goodness that is at completely ROCK BOTTOM deals. I mean, I wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't share. . .right? (There are deals for as little as $1!) #sorrynotsorry

SALE ENDS SEPTEMBER 19, 2021 at 11:59 PST

This blog post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links, I receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart!

Spellbinders Paper Arts Warehouse Sale 2021
I think I'm going to start with my most favorite thing that's on sale right now. And that is. . . .
The Color Burst Colored Pencils, which are soft and buttery, and they color absolutely beautifully. They are normally $79.95 and right now you can grab them for $20 . . .even if you already have a set, this might be a good time to get some extras! (I know I use a couple of my colors a LOT!) Here are two projects I used my colored pencils on. (The stamp sets I used, Summer Fun and Too Cool, are on sale too!)
Two summertime handmade cards, with stamped images of popsicles, and beach toys, colored with colored pencils

Another favorite is the Hello Love stamp set. I've shared this one a few times, because I had the privilege of helping design this set, and the sentiments are my own handwriting. (There's also a coordinating die set.)

Handmade card with Let Your Light Shine sentiment, and covered in yellow stamped lightbulbs, accented with silver sequins, and black glittered washi tape.
Next up, (man, I have so many things I want to share!)  DIY Hoops. These adorable and oh-so-clever little babies are fun for tags, card embellishments, ornaments and more. Embroidery hoops have become really trendy to incorporate into other crafts, and this makes it easy to do. They're sort of like faux embroidery hoops - just made from wood, and ready to decorate with paper, fabric and more. Each pack comes with three sizes, and they are lots of fun to play with!

Find more details about this project, plus one more DIY Hoop idea on this blog post.

For my sports enthusiasts, I have always been a fan of the Go Team stamp set. This little stamp set is packed with cute images for all kinds of cards. Right now you can snag this stamp set for $2, so what are you waiting for?

Go Team Sports themed handmade card with blue foam finger, and #1 team pennant, using stamps and dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts.

Next up, I just want to share a few of the little bits of this and that, that I add to so many of my projects. They're honestly the embellishments I turn to over and over, and they are tried-and-true for me. And now is DEFINITELY the time to stock up!
One more embellishment I can't live without are these adorable tiny paper clips! Such a fun little embellishment and they come in a big pack of 100 for just $1 right now. So you really better grab two packs!

And before you finish your shopping, be sure to check the cardstock that's on sale. All of the FSJ colors that are left are marked down, and they're a FANTASTIC price for FANTASTIC quality and colors of cardstock! Definitely stock up now before these colors are GONE! Here's a bright Valentine card featuring a few of my favorite colors of FSJ cardstock.

Handmade valentine card with a baby envelope and hearts background that says Happy Valentine's Day, with pink flowers and a white bow.

Thanks for stopping by today for a little crafty enabling! I had fun looking at all the great sales, and thinking about the projects I've made with some of these best-loved products from Spellbinders and FSJ.

Remember you can find all of these deals and SO many more, in the Spellbinders shop.  The Warehouse sales lasts until September 19, 2021. And remember, if you spend $75, you'll get free shipping, so you might as well GO FOR IT! ;) Happy Shopping!

Grab These Favorite Stamp Sets at 50% Off! {Impression Obsession}

Impression Obsession is discontinuing some clear stamp sets - gotta make room for new goodies, am I right?! The good news is that they are offering some absolutely ADORABLE stamp sets at FANTASTIC prices. Y'all, I am CHEAP when it comes to spending money on supplies. And I'm also a total snob about clear stamps. So trust me - these are GREAT prices, and GREAT products. IO sells the highest quality photopolymer stamps that are made in the USA. (It's the GOOD ones, guys.) And a lot of my favorite stamp sets are part of this sale - so I thought I'd share some of my favorite past projects featuring stamps on SALE!

First up, the Pineapple Welcome Clear Stamp Set. This beauty is gorgeous for summertime tropical cards. I had such a great time coloring these images with colored pencils and putting together this simple scene.

Ahhhh, the Simple Life Clear Set. On the original blog post I shared a fun tutorial for creating a mountain background and tree line for this card using masking. I just love the sweet campers and sentiments in this stamp set by Lindsay Ostrom.

How about those TEACHERS, yes? Hello HEROES. I love In the Classroom Clear Set for teacher thank you cards, teacher appreciation, and back to school projects. In the original blog post, I'll show you how to add a cute chalk board element to handmade cards, especially perfect for teachers!

I know that most of us don't have unlimited funds for crafty shopping (wouldn't that be nice?) - so I really wanted to share this sale with you, because I truly LOVE each of the stamp sets I've shared here and you can not BEAT these sale prices. Impression Obsession is a fantastic company and they have the BEST quality of products, and I love to support them. If you do some shopping, I hope you'll share what you create!

Come See My Crafty Favorites in the FSJ + Spellbinders Warehouse Sale!

Apparently I'm not the only one who's been cleaning out closets and cabinets during the quarantine...Spellbinders + FSJ have been Spring Cleaning too, and it's time for the Spring Warehouse Sale! There are SO many cute stamp sets, dies, journals, planners, ribbon, accessories and more  - and the deals are amazing. Today I thought I'd share a few of my favorite projects featuring some of the sale items that you'll want to grab NOW!

This blog post contains affiliate links. If you shop through my links, I may receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you, from the bottom of my crafty heart!
First up, the Celebrate With Cake die set is perfection for birthday, anniversary, and all types of celebration cards. I love the stitched details on the flowers - and the little leaves and stems. Die cut the solid cake layers and then overlap with a contrasting color of the detailed layer so you can make your cake as fancy (and as tall) as you'd like. (Find this card's original post HERE.

To coordinate with this project, I also made a matching tag with the It's Your Day die set - and guess what? It's also on sale. These two sets compliment each other so nicely!
Next, I had some watercolor fun on this bright, tropical card. This card features two stamp sets on sale - Spread Love and In the Tropics. The solid hibiscus and large leaf stamps are gorgeous for inky techniques like this one. (Find more details on this card HERE.)

You guys, you can add on the coordinating dies for each of these sets for just $1. One. Dollar. What in the actual world?!
Okay, I have one last card to share today. THIS one was so super fun to make. Do you see the detail on that darling octopus die? He (or maybe it's a she) is on sale for just $3 which means you really must take him home with you. I die cut this guy from watercolor paper and added lots of watercolor goodness for such a fun card. (Find all the details and instructions on the original blog post.)
You guys know, I would be a terrible friend if I didn't share some of the fun sale goodies - I could keep going, but I don't want to keep you here all day. Go  - SHOP! Think about gifts for your crafty friends, and think ahead to holiday projects you might want to create in a few months - there are lots of holiday stamps, dies, and accessories on sale. On my Facebook page, I'll be sharing a few other favorites throughout the next few days, so come on over and join me there too!
Happy crafty shopping! xoxo

Three Ways to Make Christmas Tree Cards {+ a GIANT Black Friday Sale!}

Thanksgiving is just about here, but I have so much festive Christmas fun to share that I'm just going for it - are you okay with that? Today I have THREE brand new cards to share and they all feature the  Sparkle Trim Stamp Set from FSJ. (Spoiler alert - along with pretty much ALL my favorite products at FSJ, this stamp set is on sale during the Black Friday Blowout Bash - right NOW!)

This blog post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I may receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart!
For the first card, i embossed the largest tree on gold cardstock - I wasn't sure whether gold on gold would work, but I absolutely love it. Then I embossed the smaller tree in gold onto a white die-cut circle. A simple die-cut sentiment on a strip of vellum finished this card off, along with a few embellishments. (Gold, of course!)

I liked the embossing so much that I tried it again - but this time I overlapped the stamped image. I love the way it looks like a variety of trees in a forest, but really this was all one stamp. Stamping off the edge of the cardstock gave it such a different look.
For the third card I got INKY. I inked up the large tree with Lemongrass ink, and then tapped the stamp into Kiwi Splash ink (the darker green) before stamping it onto white cardstock. Next, I inked up the edges of the panel and blended the color in, fading it towards the center.
This stamp set has so many fun possibilities for handmade Christmas cards, and winter crafts. Remember, you can grab it on SALE right now along with a lot of my FAVORITE things that are at an amazing price right now. Can I share a few of my favorites with you? These are supplies that I turn to AGAIN and AGAIN on my projects, and you'll probably recognize some of them that I use A LOT. (Or, if you can't wait - head straight to the entire sale at FSJ + Spellbinders HERE)

First, a few of my Christmas favorites: (click the links below the images to check them out)

Poinsettia Burst Stamp Set | Holiday Cheer 6x6 paper | Candy Cane Buttons | Branch & Cone Dies

Thanks so much for coming by today - for sharing some crafty time, and doing a little crafty window shopping with me. I had fun collecting up some of my favorites to share with you! You'll find the Black Friday Blowout continuing through December 3, 2019 at Spellbinders + FSJ!  xoxo

Edited 2/18/21- A few products have retired from this list but I've also added a few new bargain basement cuties! Grab them while you can! xoxo

One of my favorite things is to do . . .is to share my favorite things! Today I want to pop by and share a couple of crafty products that I just LOVE, and I don't want you to miss out on. The clearance section at Spellbinders + FSJ is packed with good stuff and some of the items are going to retire when they're sold out - so it's a great time to grab them while you can!

Let's take a quick look at some projects I've made with these favy-faves of mine:

Toucan Do It!

I just love this sweet tropical stamp set called Toucan Do It! Here's a fun layered card I made featuring some watercolor, and Gel Press prints mixed in with patterned paper and cardstock. Even better, you can grab the coordinating dies at a ROCK BOTTOM price.
(UPDATE: Toucan Do It! is retired now but I love the adorable Toucan Friends chipboard sticker toucans that are equally adorable!)

Best. Dad. Ever

This card features two stamp sets and each of them are an amazing price during the Spellbinders + FSJ Warehouse Sale. Winners is a great realistic stamp set filled with sports equipment and inspiring sentiments - it's great for masculine cards, cards for athletes, and even sports themed treat bags and crafts. Your Day is a great multi-use stamp set (with coordinating dies) for Mother's Day and Father's Day cards and tags.

Christmas Sprig

Next, the soon-to-retire Christmas Sprig stamp set. (Update - no longer available) . Click on the blog post below to find out just how I created this card, using the Gel Press and a stencil for the background pattern. (It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas cards!)

Easter Blessings and Hope Anchors

Another holiday favorite - but this time for Easter. Oh friends, I just absolutely LOVE the Easter Blessings and Hope Anchors stamp sets. They are both retiring, and if you don't have these stamps, I highly recommend them if you love to make Easter cards and crafts. (Both of these stamp sets have coordinating dies too: Easter Blessings Dies, and Hope Anchors Dies)  Looking for more floral Easter stamps? Check out Hope Rises too!
